Name: Stephanie Adler
Hometown: Munich, Germany
Stephanie, Fred Astaire’s owner and top instructor, has been dancing
all of her life. In 2005, she and her husband opened the Fred Astaire Dance
Studio in The Woodlands to bring their love of dancing to the community. Stephanie
is certified in various types of dances including ballroom, swing, hip-hop and
belly dancing. She has also had extensive training in ballet, Latin, jazz and
modern dancing. She attended the National German Dance Council as well as the
German Professional Dance Teacher Association – both of which she graduated
Valedictorian from on full scholarships. Stephanie has competed at numerous
levels both nationally and internationally, many of which she was named champion.
Currently, she is ranked 16th on the World Ranking list for dancers.
Owning her own dance studio was a lifetime dream come true for Stephanie. When
she is not working to bring the passion of dance to others, she enjoys spending
time with family and her husband, Mark. In the future, Stephanie wants to continue
to support young dance professionals in their careers and to try as many new
things as she can throughout her life. To Stephanie, Fred Astaire is more than
just a dance studio – it offers an environment for learning, fun and excitement,
meeting new people and making new friends. She feels that the atmosphere is
one in which everyone can grow to reach their fullest potential because there
are no limits. The company is always growing and changing, leaving little room
for boredom.

the system of teaching that is carried out by the Fred Astaire Dance Studio
