Name: Liz Porter Hometown: The Woodlands, TX Liz came to Fred Astaire in January 2006 with a broad range of experience in dancing. Liz is no stranger to the art of performing as she has danced ballet, tap, jazz, musicals and show choirs most of her life. In 2006, she won 1st Place Professional Novice at the Lone Star Classic competition. Aside from dancing, Liz loves to sing and act, but she tries to make time for her other passions: shopping and traveling. Liz loves how the staff at Fred Astaire acts more like brothers and sisters than colleagues and she enjoys witnessing how dancing touches peoples’ lives. Liz plans on continuing her career in dancing far into the future.
